The VCB and I didn’t want to do anything boring with the cubby hole space in our bedroom, like fill it with a dresser or bookshelf. So he sawed the edge of my desk off and put it on makeshift stilts to make it fit. Then he bought, and put up shelving. And hooked up my computer.
A little writing nook. In college I always did my best studying in the libraries at the cubicles that act as blinders. I get too distracted. I need no noise, no sudden movements, no conversation within 20 yards. I need just light.
Anyway, my writing hole makes me happy.

Indeed, gotta make sure your writing space works for you. Otherwise, writing’s a chore.
I like the lightage. Where’d you find that? Very colorful.
Shiniest Gesture.
VCB is a good man. I like that he thinks about your needs and acts upon it. Rare creature, I suggest keeping him.
I remember when he came along and how skeptical I was. How nicely this story is developing!
Very cool. The new place looks sweet. When’s the warming?
That is so cute. What a man!
I think that’s one of the deepest “cubbyholes” I’ve ever seen. For a person that doesn’t get claustrophobic, it seems like the perfect use for the space. :)
