Sounds like a fun group.
Having co-workers to joke with or make jokes makes the work experience much nicer.
I, on the other hand, work alone and must live vicariously through you.

Yup. Sounds like the kitchen I remember…
Especially the see servers. When those started to roll in in abundance - usually for some trivial thing neither the cooks nor runner needed to know - an occasional hot plate would follow. They’d usually taper off after that…along with the first few layers of skin on the offender’s hand.

Then we’d all join in a merry chorus of the doo doo on the wall song — only the theme song would change from month to month. It started out as “Don’t Bring Me Down,” gradumutated into “It’s gittin hot in hyere” and eventually slipped into nothingness when the job became completely hellacious.

And don’t even get me started bout the pancakes.

I’ll have you know I think long and hard before I press that see server button. You should see some of the creative ticket ringing I’ve done to avoid the see server button.
