When I was in high school I worked at a video store. It was in a small town and was really the only decent movie rental place in the whole of the city. Every single day, every day, a man named Orville Belcher would come in and ask, "You got any more a-them women in prison movies?"
And every day I would say no.
We had no true porn to speak of, but we had lots of Playboy videos and sexy, car wash cheerleader camp videos. But we only had one women in prison movie. And Orville Belcher was the only person who had ever rented it.
Fourteen times.
Orville, apparently, had a women in prison movie fetish. And we weren’t going to be his enablers. He would repeatedly ask if we would order him some more, and repeatedly we declined.
I wonder if Orville Belcher ever discovered the internets.

I worked at Videoculture in Murfreesboro for a good part of the late nineties. Orville and his fetish would’ve been an episode of “The Andy Griffith Show” compared to many of the customer characters and their requests that I had to deal with.

Apparently fetishists are very specific as to their chosen fetish and also very loyal. Not that I would know anything about that.
Well, if he has TBS they used to show a lot of women in prison movies late at night. USA network did too. Maybe he got lucky if he got cable. Not that I stayed up to watch the women in prison movies, I just did a lot of channel flipping at 4am in Nashville.
There is actually a Greek TV show that is set in a female prison. Of course, there is also free porn on Greek television at night and they don’t edit out cursing or boobs from movies.

I would like to take this time to suggest Jesus Franco’s Isla, The Wicked Warden, to Mr. Belcher.
This Canadian prodution, shot in Switzerland, takes place in South America. It features the inimitable Dyanne Thorne as the ruthless Isla of the SS. Isla, who runs a female prison, believes brutal torture is the best remedy for nymphomania, lesbianism, and other assorted pervsions. The character development and plot are ingenious, but I don’t want to give too much away.
This family film is sure to delight fans of sadomasochism, lesbianism, voyeursism, and “women in prison” movies. I give it it 4 glowing stars! Absolutely delightful!
