I finally broke down and got my eyes checked. Turns out I can’t see far away, and I have a floater. I’ll use these glasses except when reading or at the computer. My other pair is still awaiting lenses, but look much different than these.

I think you look cute in your glasses. Oh yeah, do you read waiterrant.net at all? You two are a couple of my favorite bloggers and I think I know why now. I aspire to be as good as you two.
MYOPIC TURTLENECKED WHORE
Okay, I thought you already wore glasses.
Those are sharp frames.
Those look great on you, Brittney. Wish I looked decent in mine, instead I always look like my great-grandmother - and not the nice and attractive one, either. (Which is why I always wear my contacts when out, tho I’m getting less and less vain all the time…) Anyway, those are very cool!!
Cool.
Gosh, I hope your retina isn’t tearing. I have a friend who suffered that. That was a frightening read on floaters. I just really fear eye surgery. (boy am I incoherent tonight)

Cute glasses. Man, Cory sounds like a seriously upbeat person.
I had a floater yesterday morning.
Oh like you didn’t see that one coming from me.
Nice glasses! I recently got my eyes checked too and only my right eye got worse. My glasses are soooo nerdy… but whatevs, I can see when I drive now.
Me too! I am the exact same way… glasses while looking at anything far away. I wear them when driving (to see street signs) and just wait until you try them at the movie theater… you never knew it could look so good! ;) I also take mine off when I am at the computer or reading. Can you believe my eye Doc suggested I get contacts and then wear glasses when reading, etc? I thought that was way backwards… esp. since (you and I both) spend most of our days online! Have fun with them- I still curse the computer, b/c I am sure that’s what brought it on… but oh well.
