I was told today by a man from California that I looked "so sweet and Midwestern." I don’t mind the sweet, but I am not sure I want to look Midwestern.
Does that mean corn-fed?

Well, maybe. Corn is sweet. Personally, I think you look more northeastern, but I’m goin’ speaker huntin’ tomorrow at Radio Shack, so I can maybe find out tomorrow what your voice sounds like.
WEll, ‘corn fed’ might be considered better than ‘chicken fried steak fed’ :)
“Midwestern” is often used to denote wholesomeness and honesty, usually by people who have never lived there. Their impressions of the midwest have been formed by cereal-box imagery and a yearning for “the simpler times.” Being from the midwest, I can assure you that large numbers of unwholesome, dishonest people reside here. Not all, obviously, but a significant and growing portion.
Forget the corn belt. Welcome to the meth belt.
WHORE
I think it just means well-defined, somewhat wide cheekbones.
Brit-
Cornfed Usually means “THICK”
It reminds me of that new country song Cornfed.
I do agree with the wholesome part- escpeially after the haircut.
Corn-fed, inbred, and dating a guy named Jed.
