And It’s BrittNEY
July 25th, 2006 — Weblogs
If you are kind enough to not have dropped me from your blogroll, I ask you this small favor. Check to see if you have me listed as Sparklewood & 21. ‘Cause that ain’t right.
I should add that if you like the grey lady and haven’t thought to add it to your roll, then I highly suggest it. Very fulfilling*. But it’s Sparkwood & 21, no "le," and it’s an ampersand not the word "and."
Thanks for your time and attention.
I Had A Sandwich For Lunch Today

I’m going to be in a book! This one, to be exact. The very mighty Maggie Mason of mightygirl.net and mightygoods.com wrote a book of prompts for bloggers, and a quote from Sparkwood & 21 will be included, along with my name and the URL. Pretty. Freakin’. Sweet.
Maybe, just maybe, seeing my name in a book–and after reading Maggie’s Very Good Idea–I will be inspired to get started on my own book.
My New (Used) Car
July 15th, 2006 — Travel
2004 Volkswagen Golf. 18,000 miles. Still under factory warranty. Still faint new car smell. Lots of bells and whistles like rear fog lights and side mirror defrost. And check out my rims, baby. Pimp ride, no?
I’m in love.
That’s a nice little humidor you’ve got there.

It hurts to swallow. My ears feel like they are going to rupture from the inside.
I’ve been sick more this year than any year in recent memory. There can be only one answer: the bloggers make me sick.
