For those of you in the News 2 viewing area who will be around a t.v. at 5:30, flip it on to This Week with Bob Mueller. I’ll be on there discussing the most memorable blog topics of 2006. If you miss it, I’ll post my segment here at S&21 after it airs.
Is 20 miles an hour a good speed to go on the freeway? No. I don’t believe that it is.
Do I let you merge in front of me so that you can throw your flaming, stanky cigarette butt out the window behind you, then run the fucking red light? No. No, I do not.
My Dad just left me a message saying (paraphrasing), "This is Bubba Claus. I’m riding my moose all across the world, my
mullet is blowing in the wind, and I’m headed to your house. I mean,
you’re headed to my house. Call me back. Bubba Claus."
Also, a kind woman stopped by the firehall where my Dad was to drop off an almost new girls’ ten-speed, as well as a box of food. Dad drove over to a part of town where Christmas gifts might not be as numerous, and found a grandmother to three who was on a strict budget due to raising them by herself. He learned from the woman’s neighbor that the family might like to take the bike, who told him there were two girls aged 10 and 8 and a boy aged 6. From what he tells me the kids were FIRED UP. They are all going to share the bike. I imagine the older girls will be teaching little brother how to ride.
