your delivery here is good, so if it’s not your best effort it’s still good.
the topic makes me sad, however. since tower is closing, i have been to the two i go to in new york a few times, and i’ve been increasingly depressed about it each time. i’m a music nerd, and i grew up in the rural nothingness west of nashville–the west end avenue tower was the shining light that showed me everything good that awaited me. in 1990 or so i heard the sisters of mercy playing there, in the front of the store in the section that used to be casettes, and i went up to ask the freaky tattooed cashier what it was. eventually i would figure out: there’s plenty of good stuff to hear in the world, and freaky tattooed people are often nerds whom you don’t have to be afraid of. it’s sad: good-bye tower. now when the indie record store doesn’t have what you want, where do you go? best buy? it has no soul. perish the thought.

Are you kidding? It was almost perfect. (So you stumbled once)
Your tone and inflections were wonderful, and you looked beautiful and professional.
