At the end of this piece I quote someone who says of the buyout of the Nashville Predators by Jim Bastillie, "This is the biggest scam pulled on Nashville by a Canadian since Shania Twain’s career."* When I finished up I looked at the guy running prompter, and I said, "What did you think about that one?" He said, "That should raise a few eyebrows." I immediately turned to my left and heard the camera guy say into his headset, "Yep, that’s what she said."

God I love macho manly manliness. I remember a pal I had in the Army during Desert Storm, who was a “that’s what she said” guy.

Seriously though, it’s awesome that Channel 2 allows this kind of coverage on their newscasts. Which is probably the only reason why I watch any of the local news at all… Keep up the good job…

I’m so sad to see you leave NiT. You built NiT and it will never be the same without you. But I’m happy for you that you have made the right decision for yourself.
