Smell My Hands
September 4th, 2007 — Assorted
There is a bottle of scented hand lotion in the bathroom at work that smells like Christmas. It’s “holiday scented” or something. At first I found the smell really foul and cloying. But now I kinda like using it.
I like Christmas as much as the next fool, but I don’t get all pumped about it months in advance. Jingle bells don’t exactly send me dancing.* But smelling the scent of peppermint and pine cones on my mitts while I work gives me a little happy. Smells like presents and good cheer around here.
*Halloween is a different story. I get pretty jazzed come pumpkin time.
