The real question is “who will break it to him that there are Republicans (even as high up as the president), pushing for ‘amnesty’?” I mean, seriously, the only way the Republicans win on immigration is by playing on their reputation as the racist party, because their actions otherwise have been as confused and weird as the Democrats.
