I am thinking of doing away with the itty-bitty blog over there and just making what would have been sidebar entries (link + piddly commentary or a single thought) posts of their own. Subscribers get them all the same anyway.
Thoughts?
You won’t need directions.

Personally, I like the itty bitty blog just fine. I get it in my reader either way.
I subscribe, too. ;)
I was unaware that they were two different things. Shows what I know.
Or rather, what I don’t know.
Honestly, I never understood what differentiated entries on it from any other normal blog entries. Unless you feel compelled to write at-length whenever you make a regular entry (I hadn’t noticed that as a constant).
But what do I know — I don’t write at all. I just post kitteh pixels.
.
I think it is a great idea. One of my rules is that every item in a feed should have a permalink so that every item can be linked to (and preferably has a place for comments).
Now, you could still choose for them to only display in the sidebar on the front page. I mostly think the “itty-bitty blog” entries should have permalinks.
nevermind, you are already making them entries in wordpress with permalinks and comments. Has that always been the case?
But they do.

Just click on the comments beneath each to get to the comment page, which is the permalink for that entry.
Yes. The only difference between the side posts and the main posts is that the side posts have no title.
Oh noes! I love those little things. I was sorely tempted to use this theme myself, but realized I’d then have to fill it with content.
Either way suits me.
Miss you here! Hope you’re having fun. Cyber Monday wasn’t the same without you. ;)
Huh, I wasn’t even aware of the IBB. I’ll go check it out.
