The first time we went to see the Golden Gate Bridge and be all touristy, there was a group of buddhist monks on the Sausalito side where we were. Their bright saffron robes against the red of the bridge and all that bay backdrop remains a favorite image in my mind.

i am ready to come visit NOW. we had ice and snow all day yesterday. my car was totally encased in ice when i got off work. jealous.
