I am not going to be able to make it home for Christmas this year. I’m trying not to be too sad about it. I’m fine with it, I guess, but I’m a little homesick. Seeing my family in the spring will be that much more exciting.

I’m sorry we couldn’t make it work. But there will be a springtime visit for sure.
Ditto what flamingo mom said. Too many absences this year.
I have at a week+ dedicated to a trip your way so hopefully I’ll see you spring/early summer. Gonna miss you guys but at least you will get to spend Christmas together for a change.
Auntmussysadpants will miss you immensely! Won’t be the same without sitting next to you opening presents on the couch.
