Christmas wasn’t the same this year. My family wasn’t with me. I have to work. I’m in California. All these things make this holiday a strange one for me, but if the above list isn’t an indication, I am loved. Not that presents mean someone loves you, but still. I am blessed beyond my ability to comprehend. Thanks to everyone who took time to make my first Christmas away from home very special. Can’t wait to see you guys again.

Holy crap, dude! Score!
Yes you guys are loved and missed especially this holiday season. I loved everything you sent me. Thank you so much.
Dadgum…I may have to move back to California if I can get that much loot!
Missed you more than you will ever know. There was a empty place in my heart because I did not have you to hug and wish merry christmas. Hope you enjoy all your gifts. My gift was great and I will enjoy using it. But my greatest gift is knowing you are safe and happy. Love you MOM
Quite the haul! Maybe next year you’d like to come to Yosemite with me. :)
Strangers on a Train is one of my favorite movies ever! Great gift. Also, hi–we have stuff in common, which is why I’ve especially enjoyed your blog. I’m a vegetarian/on-the-job blogger/former Cookevillian/Nashvillian, now living in Denver, now in Honolulu at my BF’s dad’s house, on my way to San Francisco for New Year’s Eve and a few days after. It’d be fun to get together if you had a chance. I’m not sure what our plans are but just puttin’ it out there. Happy holidays!
That’s quite a haul! My most fun gift so far was a buttload of iTunes gift certificates. Strangers on a Train is one of my favorites, too. Have you ever tried any of the Moosewood cookbooks?
How bad did ya cry when you read mom’s comment?
