Hello “hella” , goodbye “ya’ll”
That must be hella annoying.
lmao
When I went to Sacramento State, folks said “hecka”. I’m used to “hella”, even though it technically makes no sense.
Should be interesting when you’re able to make it back home. I’d be curious what accents or colloquialisms stick with youl
As opposed to “hell-ov-a” used around here.
“that’s one hellova place you’ve moved to out there”
Beware my mom and her Golden Girl Posse as well as the MacWorld folks will be invading in 2 weeks.
hellaRAWR ha ha ha ha ha
I first heard “hella” in the early 1980s from a white South African friend in grad school — think it was a common slang from her youth. Wonder if South Park has an S.A. connection? Or if its a wider Anglo-diaspora thing?
