Two serious questions: How long did it take to start seeing community involvement through Nashville is Talking? At what point do you start to worry that you’re you’re not seeing enough at Eye on Blogs?
I don’t start worrying until we have a site that looks and acts like a blog. Right now users can’t leave URLs when they leave a comment, the comments are in reverse chronological order, the aggregator is at 1/20th its capacity and lots of other tech issues. These are all on our roadmap to be fixed, but until they are these issues will curb user participation.
I don’t really remember how long it took for NiT to really catch on, but it wasn’t immediately.
In brief, I’m not worried yet, but I certainly have concerns.
