Hope you’re OK. The second post below this didn’t seem too happy. Anyhow, I think semicolons are just plain rad. I don’t use them everywhere; that isn’t their purpose, or the purpose of any punctuation symbol. I might misuse them. I’m pretty sure I get it right most of the time, though, and using the semicolon, getting the semicolon right, really makes literary articulation easier in the long run.
