I’m reading Lolita for the first time. It’s amazing, and I’m moving very slowly. I pore over the words that catch my breath in my throat. Sometimes I just sit and stare at a sentence for a full minute. I keep finding tiny strings of perfection.

I’m going to be in a book! This one, to be exact. The very mighty Maggie Mason of mightygirl.net and mightygoods.com wrote a book of prompts for bloggers, and a quote from Sparkwood & 21 will be included, along with my name and the URL. Pretty. Freakin’. Sweet.

Maybe, just maybe, seeing my name in a book–and after reading Maggie’s Very Good Idea–I will be inspired to get started on my own book.
